The North Yorkshire Moors is all around our Holiday Home Park, but the covers 554 sq miles, but it’s not all just moorland it also covers coastal landscape, it also has many Villages and historic attractions to see, with many activities apart from walking, there is something for everyone! Here are some links to give you a feel what the National park has to offer the visitor, and why we have many returning guest.The moors have not changed much in the past 50 years, and are often used as a backdrop to British television programmes and films. The series Heartbeat and the scenes of The Hogsmeade Station in the Harry Potter movies were filmed in Goathland. Dalby Forest is also host to many forms of entertainment throughout the year including outdoor concerts.

There are so many beautiful places of historic, and beautiful scenery to see, you could spend a whole week just exploring the moors. But don’t forget to visit.
